To deliver your best self-tape, you need to feel comfortable, confident, and focused — and that’s exactly what I aim to provide.

With over 20 years as a working actor — and countless self-tapes of my own — I understand just how important they’ve become in the industry.

After investing in my own setup to elevate the quality of my tapes, I discovered a passion for the process: from performance, to camera, to final edit.

 

That passion naturally grew into helping others. I’ve worked with actors, presenters, vloggers, singers, and business owners — of all ages  & experience

We’ll begin by connecting via phone or email to discuss any specifics you may need and answer any questions. I pride myself on being as accommodating and flexible as possible.

You're welcome to email your script or sides in advance — I’ll have them printed and ready for your arrival, or familiarise myself with them if I’m reading with you.

You are welcome to bring your own reader.

A whiteboard is available for notes, and an autocue can be set up in advance if needed

Self-tapes often come in last minute —  I’ll always do my best to fit you in at short notice.

If I do the edit, conversion, and transfer for you that is covered in you price and done post the allocated slot, your paid time is for filming & reviewing footage.

I'm based in Four Marks, Hampshire, easily accessible by public transport or car.

Just a 10-minute taxi from Alton Station (approx. 1 hour from London Waterloo), or take the No. 64 bus, with a scenic 15-minute walk from the Winchester Road stop.

Private off-road parking is also available.

My general set up is Two box lights, but I have a lovely neweer floor light if we require some extra mood lighting .

I shoot with a Canon EOS 80D, a DSLR known for its reliable autofocus, sharp image quality, and full HD recording. The articulating flip screen allows on-camera talent to monitor framing in real time. 

The tripod setup includes adjustable mounts compatible with both DSLR cameras and smartphones, accommodating clients who wish to use their own recording equipment.

To streamline the editing process, you’re welcome to veto any takes as we go.

When the edit is complete I will first send the footage to you for sign off and your self-tape is converted and delivered in whatever format or platform you need: WeTransfer, Vimeo, YouTube, Dropbox — MP4 or MOV.

If needed, I can compress files to meet platform limits (e.g. under 100MB for certain uploads, which is requested often from casting directors).

Everything is processed immediately after filming to ensure your tape reaches its recipient as quickly as possible.

  • Standard Self-Tape (1 hr) – £50 - 65

  • Self-Tape + Coaching (90 min) – £60 - 75

  • Edit & Send Only – £20

  • Bundle: 3 x 1 hr sessions – £135

  • Quick Bundle: 3 x 30 mins – £80
